DESCRIPTION:Run or walk our 5K course starting and ending at Club Northwest located at 2160 NE Vine Street in Grants Pass Oregon. The fun starts at 8:30 a.m. and has chip timing! \n\n\n\nThe 1-Mile Fun Run is a friendly race that involves participants taking part for their own enjoyment rather than competition. Bring your family\, friends\, and your four-legged furry friends! It will start at 9:30 a.m. (costume encouraged). Run\, walk\, skip or shuffle your way through the Club Northwest neighborhood as you turn your miles into opportunity! Enjoy the celebration with food trucks\, ice cream\, and vendor booths. Food trucks will open at 8:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nFunds raised at this event will provide Project Youth+ with the resources needed to support program participants with various fees\, services\, and supplies youth need to be able to participate in school or work. Project Youth+ is a non-profit organization that works with low-income\, first-generation\, under-resourced\, and underrepresented middle and high school students at risk of equity gaps in their education and workforce options in southern Oregon. We have been working with schools in Josephine\, Jackson\, and Douglas County for over 20 years.
