Best place for spectators to sit is on either side of street on 6th or 7th from D street to K street that will be the route for anyone that has signed up to be in parade. Participants will receive a ticket when they arrive for their parking spot for show & shine awards. Spectators please stay on sidewalks at all times during parade so it's a very safe event. After parade is done we will be having a after party where all participants will have a VIP parking spot which spectators will receive a ticket\, and be able to judge their favorite vehicle. We will be doing Christmas Caroling as a community led by a local high school choir group. Band will perform for everyone. Our 2021 Grants Pass Santa will be there waiting for all the kids handing out candy canes\, and many more surprises. There will be prizes for best "Decked Out" for spectators dressing up as festive as you can. Wear Christmas PJ'S\, Ugly Christmas Sweaters or just a red or green outfit their will be a trophy handed out for best dressed. After party parking lot will be announced on Facebook on Grants Pass Christmas Parade 2021\, but just head towards G Street and find all the floats.\n\nFor anyone that wants to be apart of our Senior resident home parde the following weekend Dec 18th let us know at our town parade. It is a magical time for all the seniors to sit outside or next to window to see all the vehicles lite up along with Santa. We will be dropping off gifts collected by community also.\n\nCommunity Help Needed- We are putting on a coat drive for kids in Josephine County\, and also we are collecting items for the seniors to make sure everyone at the retirement homes get a special gift\, and card. Have your child make a homemade card or craft\, and drop it off before Dec 10th at any of the 6 locations listed below. They seniors enjoy any item from coloring books to slippers. Last year with community help we brought in over 400 coats for kids\, and around 1\,600 gifts and cards for seniors. Our goal for coats this year is greater as we have signed up to help 200 children with Josephine County Foster Care Kids. It can be a new or lightly used coat.
