DESCRIPTION:The Healthy Start of Southern Oregon team and our Perinatal Task Force partners are pleased to welcome new families who are expecting or have recently had a baby to the Community Baby Shower. The event is in-person AND virtual!\nThe purpose of this event is to connect families with resources\, trustworthy information\, other local families\, and community support\, and of course\, to have FUN!\n\nIn-person: Saturday\, September 17th 10:30am - 4:00pm\n\nThis OPEN HOUSE event will feature over a dozen booths with care providers who will provide information on infant CPR\, parenting classes & support groups\, pediatric services\, breastfeeding\, and so much more.\n\nAdditionally\, food trucks will be on site offering delicious food for purchase.\n\nCome dressed ready for a complimentary family photo! We will also be giving out hundreds of dollars worth of gifts to support parents and infants in Southern Oregon.\n\nVirtual: September 12th-17th\n\nThe virtual programming will feature posts with helpful information about pregnancy and parenthood\, local resources\, and the opportunity to win prizes!\n\nThere will be engaging posts Monday through Friday with interviews and demonstrations at the Saturday event so you can enjoy the information from the comfort of home. On the following Monday\, we will announce our big prize winner!\n\nJust engage with our prize posts\, and/or fill out our feedback survey to be entered into the drawing to win!
