Auditions will be held next week\, on December 5 & 6.\n\n \n\nOne Eleven Theatre Company has brought excellent community theatre productions to Grants Pass since 2008\, including Beauty and the Beast\, Newsies\, and Shrek! "Matilda" promises to be edgy\, electrifying\, and extravagant! \n\n \n\nThe show will be directed by Sandra Castle\, choreographed by Jocelyn Schmidt\, and music directed by Kristin Ryerson! Come join the fun!\n\n \n\nIndividual Audition Dates: (Pick one)\n\nMonday\, Dec 5th\, 6:00-8:30pm\n\nTuesday\, Dec 6th\, 6:00-8:30pm\n\n \n\nDance Audition Date: \n\n(ATTENDANCE REQUIRED to be cast)\n\nTuesday\, Dec 13th\, 6:00-7:00pm\n\n \n\nLocation:\n\nBethany Presbyterian Church\n\n(741 NW 4th St\, Grants Pass\, OR 97526)\n\n \n\nHow to Sign Up:\n\nNo need to sign up or make a reservation\, just show up and you'll be added to the queue! She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher\, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Over the course of her first term at school\, Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other's lives\, as Miss Honey begins not only to recognize but also appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing\, however   the school's mean headmistress\, Miss Trunchbull\, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts\, and could be the school pupils' saving grace!\n\n\n\nPacked with high-energy dance numbers\, catchy songs and an unforgettable star turn for a young actress\, Matilda is a joyous girl power romp.
