LaVere's storytelling and songwriting is barbed and sharp\, a delightful contrast to her sweet soprano vocals and smooth upright bass playing. The dark and charming writer has released seven solo recordings and has collaborated on recordings with many other artists across the Americana landscape. Notable collaborations include works with Luther Dickinson\, Valerie June\, Sharde Thomas\, Amy Helm\, Sea Sick Steve\, Todd Snider and Johnny Dowd. Her next release will be a live record\, slated for creation on September 13th 2025 at The Crosstown Concourse in Memphis\, TN.\n\nIn addition to her solo records and a tireless touring schedule\, Amy enjoys working with other artists. She joined an all-star collaboration called The Wandering\, composed of Amy\, Luther Dickinson\,Valerie June\, Shannon McNally and Sharde Thomas They released Go On Now\, You Can't Stay Here (2012) to critical acclaim and sold-out shows.\n\nAmy and Luther also collaborated on Sisters Of The Strawberry Moon (2019). This project featured Allison Russell\, Amy Helm\, The Como Mammas\, Sharde Thomas and Lily May Risch.\n\nOver the past three decades\, Will Sexton has grown into a skilled musical polymath: an esteemed writer\, producer\, session player and artist with a string of acclaimed LPs to his credit.
