DESCRIPTION:On April 22\, 1970\, citizens\, businesses\, and non-profits came together for the first Earth Day to advocate for regulation that has since resulted in cleaner air\, cleaner waterways\, and the protection of endangered species. This year\, the Southern Oregon Guild is honoring the 53rd Earth Day with our Spring Guild Member Art Exhibit: "Our Fragile Planet."\n \n\nJoin us Sunday April 23 from 3-5pm for a FREE opening celebration at the Guild Gallery featuring live music from Terry D. Davis\, appetizers\, and refreshments. Art has the power to mobilize us to action! Listen in as Guild Members will be making short presentations to express their creative perspectives on both local and global sustainability.\n \n\nOur Fragile Planet will be on display from April 23-July 22\, 2023. Our current hours for viewing are: Tuesday-Saturday 11am-5pm. The Guild Gallery & Art Center is located in the historic Kerby Belt Building at 24353 Redwood Highway Kerby\, OR 97531.
