Adult Art Workshop - Painting Convincing Landscapes

In this class, you will follow along with a live painting demonstration and learn how to capture light, form, depth, and how to balance colors and create a sense of atmosphere. Working form a photograph we will go step by step from underpainting, to color blocking, to final details.

The principles discussed will apply to both painting live outdoors as well as working in the studio from a photo. At the end of this class we will (time allowing) have a simple painting that you can leave as is or take our reference photo home and continue to add additional details on your own time.
