Community Discussion Session (Animal Shelter and Control Levy)

The Josephine County Animal Shelter plans to host three community discussion sessions on the upcoming measure for a new Animal Shelter and Control Levy on the May ballot.
 
At these meetings, staff will provide a brief presentation on what this levy would provide for the community, including sketches for the proposed new shelter facility. Afterward, staff will hold an open question-and-answer session with community members.

Presenters will include Mike Weber, Public Health director, and Laura Jansen, shelter manager.
 
Planned sessions will be held:

• 7 p.m. April 17 at the Anne Basker Auditorium in Grants Pass
• 7 p.m. April 25 at Wild River Brewing and Pizza Co. in Cave Junction
• 7 p.m. May 7 at the Anne Basker Auditorium in Grants Pass
