The Josephine County Animal Shelter plans to host three community discussion sessions on the upcoming measure for a new Animal Shelter and Control Levy on the May ballot.
At these meetings, staff will provide a brief presentation on what this levy would provide for the community, including sketches for the proposed new shelter facility. Afterward, staff will hold an open question-and-answer session with community members.
Presenters will include Mike Weber, Public Health director, and Laura Jansen, shelter manager.
