Democrats Picnic

Josephine County Democrats are holding an August family picnic in lieu of their regular meeting. Lauri Hoagland, FNP, La Clinica Medical Clinic, is the guest speaker.

She will be discussing the state of Healthcare for All, Oregon, the Oregon Health Bill, and other urgent health issues.

The event begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, at the Tom Pearce Park, Shelter 1, in Grants Pass at 3700 Pearce Park Road. Cost is $20 per person and includes grilled sausages, buns, condiments, corn-on the-cob, salads, watermelon and a soft drink.

Suggestions: Carpooling, since there is a $5 county park parking fee and chairs, as available seating is picnic table benches. It is permissible to bring your own beer or wine. RSVP treasurer@josephinedemocrats.org and leave your name, phone number, and car-pool needs.
