GP Downs Horse Racing-Fall 2025

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 - OPENING DAY is highlighted by the running of the Daily Courier Stakes and Southern Belle Stakes.  The 12 day Fall Race Meeting is presented by the Horseman's Racing Association. 

 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 - Twice the Fun for the Price of One Admission: Monday Night at the Races.

 

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 - REX ON THE ROGUE DINO-RACES.  Join us for the 3rd Annual Rex Race fundraising event for Josephine County Children battling Cancer.

 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 - Twice the Fun for the Price of One Admission: Monday Night at the Races.

 

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 - LADIES HAT DAY.  FREE Admission for Ladies Wearing a Hat (baseball caps excluded).  Cash Prizes will be awarded in the following "Hategories" - Best Autumn Theme Hat, Best Hat with Coordinating Outfit, Best Horse or Racing Theme Hat and Most Creative or Original Hat.  There also will be a Kid's Category.

 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 - Twice the Fun for the Price of One Admission: Monday Night at the Races.

 

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 - JOSEPHINE COUNTY FOOD BANK DAY.  FREE Admission for fans who donate two non-expired cans of food to the Josephine County Food Bank.

 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 - Twice the Fun for the Price of One Admission: Monday Night at the Races.

 

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5 - OKTOBERFEST.  Fans will receive a Grants Pass Downs Logo Pint Glass and six tastings for only $15.

 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 6 - Twice the Fun for the Price of One Admission: Monday Night at the Races.

 

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12 - FAN APPRECIATION DAY.  FREE Drawing for Gift Bags after every race.  Must be present to win.

 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 13 - CLOSING DAY.  The 2025 Fall Meet concludes with the Autumn Derby and the Grants Pass "Mile".  Special Holiday Post Time of 1:00 p.m.
