Heroes & Villains-Barnstormers
This year’s youth theatre camp, directed by Madeline DeCourcey along with Sam Dinkowitz, Heroes and Villains ,has been exploring the archetypes of storytelling through the scripts of Treasure Island by Ken Ludwig, The Treasure of Shiver River by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcs, The Princess Bride and some original scenes written by the campers themselves. Campers have created their very own unique characters.
These kiddos have been learning advanced stage combat skills while honing their stage presence, comedic timing, and imagination. They have also been learning practical theatre production skills, such as set, sound, light, props and costume design, that will all be showcased in their final performances. Come on out to cheer them on and watch them shine.
