While visiting JA Finance Park, each student will become an adult for the day. All students will be responsible for planning a monthly budget for themselves and their fictional families.
This visit is one of the concluding activities to the JA Finance Program, which encompasses important elements of personal financial literacy and career awareness.
On Feb 27th through March 6th, 8th graders from North & South GP Middle Schools, Ruch, Lorna Byrne, Illinois Valley, New Hope, and College Dreams students will visit JA Finance Park.
Adult Volunteers are need for every six students to assist a JA Finance Park. A two hour training for volunteers is provided. Call (541) 842-3920 for information and to sign up.
