Sanctuary One is proud to launch its first Volunteer Week. While there are volunteer opportunities throughout the year (over 3000 hours served in 2016 alone), Sanctuary One has partnered with Points of Light to highlight and celebrate our amazing community during the 2017 National Volunteer Week. With 55 acres and over sixty animals, it takes a lot of work to keep Sanctuary One running. As part of Volunteer Week, Sanctuary One encourages volunteer teams to come out to the farm one or more days for the week of April 23-29, 2017. There will be major projects to tackle on the farm each day from 10am-2pm, with lunch served. In helping Sanctuary One, you not only help rescued animals prepare for their forever homes, you’re helping a multitude of other nonprofits Sanctuary One serves, like veteran groups, children’s groups, and more. Join Sanctuary One in April for lunch, make a difference in our community, build meaningful memories with your team, and get a free event t-shirt!
