Summer Building Camp for Girls (10-14 years old)
The camp at Lincoln Savage Middle School, and the girls (age 10 - 14) will be building a variety of projects over the course of the week.
They will: * build a playhouse that will be donated to the Women's Crisis Support Team's safe house * repair a broken water main (picture water shooting 30' in the air) with the City of Grants Pass Water Bureau * solder copper and use that to create a lamp * wire a light with Crater Lake Electrical JATC * tree trimmers may be able to come out to have the girls ride a zip line Camp is $200 but Scholarships are available. We strongly urge people to apply, even if the sticker price is out of their budget.
