In the midst of all the division in our country there is also an emerging conversation about how we can build bridges by recognizing and nurturing the mutual humanity in each other. “The Healing…” does that. Not with political rhetoric or stereotypical psychologizing, but with a deeply personal encounter between two women and the universal inquiry of how can we understand and take care of each other.
