U.S. Cellular's Free Device Workshop

Earth Day is April 22 and it serves as a great reminder for us all to consider how we are impacting the environment and what changes we can make to positively impact our environment. U.S. Cellular associates will help smartphone users stay green in 2017 during a free Device Workshop in Grants Pass. Attendees will learn how to reduce, reuse and recycle from the palm of your hand and to use their devices, such as the iPhone 7 or Samsung Galaxy S7. Guests do not need to be U.S. Cellular customers to attend. “Our associates are available to show residents how to use their devices to become more environmentally friendly this year,” said Erryn Andersen, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in the northwest. “As members of our community upgrade to new phones many times they keep their old devices and end up with a drawer full of older phones. We are happy to show Grants Pass residents how to clear their personal data off their phones and help recycle them in an environmentally sound manner.” The free workshop will be held at 8 a.m., on April 15 at 220 NE Beacon Drive Grants Pass,OR 97526. During the workshop U.S. Cellular associates can demonstrate how to delete content so you can recycle older devices and download apps that can help customers and their families become more environmentally conscience this year.
