Wilderness Survival Residential Camp August 9th-11th. The cost is $225-Full scholarships available to anyone who has need! Residential camp open to youth ages 10-14 teaches survival skills and independence.
Your child will learn wilderness survival skills and maybe catch a falling star! We’ll emphasize how to find food and water in the wild, building shelters and fire, identifying useful plants, wildlife tracking and fishing techniques and simple tool-making and wildcrafts. All these activities will be facilitated using a lens of outdoor ethics and Leave-No-Trace principles. Students will test their critical thinking ability while meeting new friends and gaining useful skills. They will also be able to view the peak of the stunning Perseid meteor shower through our telescope. Cost includes lodging, food and instruction for the week.
